About

We are an all-female team of various ages, faiths, cultures and backgrounds and collectively, have faced common life challenges.

Having experienced a life changing situation in a foreign country, I thought of women in similar situations who did not understand the language or whom to turn to for help.  So, the idea of a multicultural and interfaith charity began forming, that would act as a first step or resource, empowering and supporting women following their own life challenging and changing experiences, but also to act as a means of integrating within today’s diverse society.

Collectively, we have experienced the common life traumas and being an all-female team of various ages, cultures and backgrounds, we are an equal yet diverse mix. We respect and are interested in each other’s beliefs or none, while continuing to celebrate our own and being an interfaith team, we will try to offer authentic cultural support if requested.

By promoting a community spirit of respectful social integration among all women, we hope to reach across the conscious and unconscious social barriers of faith, lifestyle, culture or sexual orientation and gender identity that can cause loneliness and isolation due to fear, suspicion and ignorance about another’s lifestyle or appearance.

We believe all women have value, deserving to be treated respectfully as equals. Despite social or cultural differences, many of our life experiences are shared. We will treat all women with dignity, giving them the tools through signposting to make their own independent decisions about specific help and the support to move forward with their lives following difficulties or challenges.

We aim to be a diverse, inclusive and non-judgemental safe listening and learning space for all women. Listening, with informal peer support and through our 1:1 email and learning from each other on the safe chat forum recognising, validating and celebrating all that is shared and gaining confidence to ask for help when necessary.
